About Us
Circle2Learn is proud to engage in community partnerships with local university and college students who aspire to become professional educators. Our learning specialists become “circle certified” on small group instruction and curriculum to work with Tier 2 and 3 students in Reading and Math. Not only do students receive targeted instruction to meet their precise needs, but teachers have the opportunity to further differentiate their classroom instruction within the school day and after school.
Program Design
Our program is designed by examining the pacing guides of various curriculum programs used in schools, identifying heavily weighted standards for every grade level, and aligning skill proficiencies to CAASPP question types to ensure that students make measurable growth on district benchmarks and state assessments. Our instructional support materials have been developed by experienced curriculum specialists, teachers and administrators to deliver a quality program that compliments core instruction. The last thing we are here to do is “add something else” onto the plates of students and teachers. Our philosophy and goal is to ensure equitable access for all students to grade level proficiency and reinforce a positive growth mindset as students navigate grade level content.
What We’re Proud Of
Parental Convenience:
We find that parents strongly support our program as they are rest assured their child receives the academic supports they need at school without having to turn to outside extra-curricular programs that may or may not align with their teacher’s pacing in the classroom. One less after school drop off and pick up for outside tutoring!
Supported Teachers:
Teachers have welcomed the additional layer of support for their students, as we know the demands of a given school day can often interfere with designated intervention time. Dedicated teachers are spread thin and pressed for time, making it challenging to meet every child’s needs. We’re here to help!
Site and District Administrator Benefits:
In our experience, site administrators are happy to support their teachers with differentiated learning time while our site success managers help with things like scheduling, learning specialist assignments and the “nuts and bolts” of our program on campus. District administrators are rest assured that not only are students, staff and parents benefiting from our teamwork, but recruiting for potential new hires is an added bonus both for districts and our learning specialists.
