After School Learning

After school learning extension is not your typical homework help session! Our learning specialists are trained in CAASPP aligned instructional supports that provide continued exposure to question stems, item types and critical thinking strategies that continuously expose students to what they can expect to see on grade level California assessments in the Spring. Students are selected to participate based on school wide assessment data and school faculty recommendation. These sessions are typically 1.5 hours to accommodate snack time with transition times and take place three times per week or as sites see fit.
